Grant Road Dental is owned and operated by Dr. Robert Rutner. Dr. Rutner is a graduate of Georgetown Dental School and earned an undergraduate and graduate degree in Biochemistry from the University of California, Davis. Dr. Rutner is an established dental professional who is a part of many dental organizations including the American Dental Association, Smile Source, the Mid-Peninsula Dental Society, and the California Dental Association. Dr. Rutner is also a Diplomat for the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. Dr. Rutner grew up in Los Altos and has been practicing in the Bay Area since 1985. He has been a pioneer in dental marketing and group practice management. He assisted in the development of Invisalign including international training and expansion into Asia and Australia.

Dr. Rutner spends much of his free time with his five children. In his spare time he enjoys traveling, scuba diving, golf, cooking, gardening and skiing.

Dr. Cammellia Askari attended UC Irvine for her undergraduate studies in Biological Sciences. She then attended and graduated from Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine. At Boston University, she was recognized as a finalist for the 2011 Academy of Dentistry International’s Terry Tanaka Student Humanitarian Award for helping implement a prevention program for pediatric patients at Boston’s South End Community Health Center. She has been working at Grant Road Dental in Mountain View, CA for the past 3 years. Her patients would describe her as kind and caring. She takes the time with each of them to make sure their concerns are addressed and they are as comfortable as possible. She loves to educate her patients and feels that they all should be well informed about their oral health condition and how to maintain and improve it. Dr. Askari enjoys spending time with family and friends, listening to music, and traveling in her spare time.

 

Lance Timmerman, DMDo

Since 1998, cosmetic dentist Dr. Lance Timmerman has been helping people in Seattle with advanced procedures designed to improve the health and appearance of their smiles. A graduate of the Oregon Health Sciences University School of Dental Medicine, Dr. Timmerman has not only learned the lessons that only experience can teach, he has continued his dental education with courses at the prestigious Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies (LVI) and John Kois Center for Dental Excellence. His membership in dental organizations and certifications allow him to keep current in the various aspects of dental care that matter to his patients and demonstrate his knowledge and skill. An emerging leader in dentistry, he offers the latest in dental care for his patients.

Dr. Timmerman takes pride in his skill, his experience, and his training, but he knows that dental excellence also depends on giving each patient appropriate and personal care. As a cosmetic dentist, he takes the time to listen to his patients and to make sure every patient fully understands their condition and their treatment options. He will explain everything in plain language and answer all your questions so you can make an informed decision about your treatment plan.

Chris Kim, DDS

Dr. Kim is a graduate of the University of California, San Francisco Dental School. While at UCSF, he completed one year of Advanced Education in General Dentistry. Dr. Kim also completed his undergraduate work at the University of California, San Diego in Physiology and Neuroscience. For Dr. Kim, dentistry is more than an occupation; it is truly his greatest passion and hobby. By building a relationship of trust, Dr. Kim strives to partner with patients in establishing the vision of long-term oral health. His appreciation for understanding the etiology of the diagnosis and the individual needs of patients provides a foundation for a predictable and optimal outcome. Dr. Kim enjoys his free time traveling and backpacking. He has also been skiing ever since he could walk. Dr. Kim is currently preparing for the Fellowship of the Academy of General Dentistry and has exceeded over 100 hours of dental education.
